How many of you have taken part in the “buzz” Microsoft created regarding its Origami project?

Did you think this was it ? Rumors say that Microsoft has something else cooking.

The UMPC announced at CeBIT annual trade show cannot compete with Apple’s iPod. The only way Microsoft could grab a bite from the market share the rival owns right now is to come up with a new project.

And here we go again. Rumors over the Web state that Microsoft is working on something new. This something could be called “Xplayer‿ and should fight back Apple’s iPod and Sony’s PSP. The device is supposed to combine video gaming, music and video and should be considered a member of the Windows Mobile family.

Xbox 360 is already out on the market while Sony has delayed the launch of its PS3 therefore this could be considered a one step ahead for Microsoft. Could the so called “Xplayer‿ do what Origami did not ? Do you hear the “buzz‿, because I am….
