LG Electronics will launch the world’s slimmest 3G clamshell phone with powerful MP3 feature on middle of November.

The new model LG-U880 is 18.2mm thick and designed to appeal with its stylish design and a powerful MP3 player function. The large user memory can store more than 20 MP3 songs. The phone also has buttons on the outside of the clamshell for easy control of the MP3 player function. The list of multimedia features supported by the phone includes video telephony and 1.3 mega-pixel camera. Other features are MP3, AAC, MPEG4(+MIDI,AMR,WAV), 75 MB user memory and external Transflash (Micro SD), USB, Bluetooth, VOD, AOD, WAP, Java, E-mail, MMS. The dimensions are 98.8mm x 49mm x 18.2mm and it weighs 99 g.

The LG-U880 has two displays: a 2.0″LCD, 176X220, 262k TFT and a 1.17″LCD 96x 96, 65k TFT.

The ‘world’s slimmest 3G clamshell phone’ will be available in a variety of color choices including glossy black, matt black, silver, and pink.
