Now that Windows Vista Beta 2 was released, we should welcome IE7+.
IE7+ is the name of Internet Explorer version 7 built for Windows Vista.
Although both versions are both built on the same code base, Microsoft naturally reserves some features for its brand new operating system.
What’s available only for IE7+? You get Protected Mode, Parental Controls, and improved Network Diagnostics.
These features take advantage of big changes in Windows Vista and weren’t practical to make them available to older version of Windows like XP or 2000. So, Internet Explorer got two code names.
“Hey, you like IE7+?” “Man, there’s no IE7+” “Well, there is, but only for Vista, hehe”
Ok, now that I made a little joke, we will see how good is this IE7+, to which by the way they say they solved a lot of bugs, and how good will it be against the other competitors like Firefox and Opera.
Till then, all the best.
