Once again Vista will be short of a feature. If they keep it like this, we will end up with a XP with Aero interface. If they don’t drop it too.
After they delayed Vista, they dropped Windows shell Monad, after that was WinFS to go away and FireWire-B not to be implemented, now PC-to-PC Sync has been abandonated.
This feature helps users to keep files up to date on multiple computers. Very useful on a network.
But we still have UAC (User Access Controls). To delete a shortcut without having administrative privileges you may find that a really hard job because you need several steps to complete it. And a lots of yes/no/are you sure. Just for a shortcut. This will be an insane feature for many Vista users. Hope you can skip it or else …
So now, without all these cool features missing, what is Vista like? You can download it and see for yourself because from yesterday Vista is available for everyone.
