When Google said that Microsoft is trying again to monopolize the search engine market by implementing MSN into Vista everybody was split into two parts. The ones that agreed with Google and the ones who said that Vista is just coming with MSN, not forcing the users to use it.
So it was for the US Government to decide if Microsoft is doing bad things again. And their response was that Vista is OK. Why?
Because “If no default has been set, Microsoft does slot in its own MSN Search.”
Internet Explorer 7 will be bundled into Vista and also offered as a download for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users. A public test version of the browser is already available from Microsoft’s Web site.
Google recently chose Firefox as the web browser it will “sponsor”. Maybe because Firefox uses Google searches as its default searches? I’m sure that this is the case and this is why Google is making all this tam-tam.
If you think that Microsoft is right or wrong, feel free to post a comment with your opinion.
