For the fifth year, Verizon Wireless has been named to Training magazine’s 2006 list of “Top 100 Training Organizations in America.”. This year it was ranked 6th, while last year it was on the 14th place.
The motive she was included this year too is the use of new technology and training approaches to support the company’s business goals and objectives. In 2005, Verizon Wireless reported the highest annual net customer growth in the wireless industry, adding more than 7.5 million customers. In addition, in 2005, Verizon Wireless had the industry’s lowest percentage of customers who disconnected their service, an important indicator of customer loyalty.

With more then 55.000 employees worldwide, Verizon Wireless owns and operates the nation’s most reliable wireless network, serving 51.3 million voice and data customers.
