Mobilink, Pakistan’s cellular market leader, and Alcatel-Lucent announced the commercial launch of Mobilink Infinity, a wireless broadband and telephony service for residential and enterprise consumers based on the mobile WiMAX standard, 802.16e-2005 (Rev-e).

The Alcatel-Lucent cable ship ‘Ile de Sein’ landed in Nuuk, the 2,100 km section (or trunk cable) of Tele Greenland’s submarine cable network.
