Do you run a small business or just having problems with the bandwidth? Well, Kerio comes with WinRoute Firewall, its Windows gateway firewall and VPN package for SMBs.
The product acts as a simple Quality of Service (QoS) device that slows down Internet connection for heavy traffic users to make space for bandwidth-sensitive applications such as VoIP, and allows network administrators to configure the quotas for bandwidth usage.
“Inconsistent network performance is a concern of most SMBs that rely on Internet-based technologies to do business,” said Dusan Vitek, vice president of marketing, Kerio Technologies. “Kerio WinRoute Firewall 6.2 with Bandwidth Limiter helps administrators ensure reliable connectivity for business applications with minimal impact on power users.”
The firewall comes with the possibility to utilize it together with the McAfee Antivirus, or any other third party antivirus software. This way, everything that enters or leaves the network such as VPN, web, FTP and email traffic is scanned for viruses.
“From our standpoint, the QoS Bandwidth Limiter feature of Kerio WinRoute Firewall has been another invaluable addition to the functionality of the firewall,” said David Wagner of Accounting Systems Consulting, a Kerio Business Partner based in Las Vegas, Nevada. “This is just another example of one of the many ‘high-end’ features inherent in Kerio WinRoute Firewall at a price point that can’t be beat, and reinforces our use of Kerio WinRoute Firewall as the solution of choice for our clients.”
As I said, Kerio WinRoute Firewall 6.2 will be available in 2 models: the firewall without the antivirus costs $399, and the one with the antivirus costs $499. With over 200 resellers, and with Internet shops, Kerio Firewall can be purchased starting today.
