Consumers with entertainment PCs based on Intel Viiv technology can now get real-time updates on their fantasy football team while watching live games.

“Together, Yahoo! and Intel have created the ultimate experience for fantasy football fans this season,” said Marco Boerries, senior vice president, connected life, Yahoo!. “We are creating truly innovative ways for fans to use the popular, interactive features of Yahoo! Sports on their TV though Intel Viiv technology, which delivers the best consumer PC experience for in-home entertainment.”

Using the remote control, consumers can get real-time updates on their fantasy football scores without missing a minute of the live game (or without missing the action) on their television screen. Key features of the new service include: League Scores, that keeps on top of games across the league and track real-time scores and player stats, My Teams, to personalize the service to closely follow favorite teams, Fantasy Football, to access real-time fantasy scores and league standings updates, Scoreboard View, to get a bird’s-eye view of what is happening across the league and fantasy football scores.
