Intel presented U2400, the latest addition to Yonah family.
After Yonah U2500 was presented a few weeks ago, Intel considered that is time to add another Core Duo processor for their low-wattage family Yonah.
So it appeared U2400 which features 1.06GHz clock frequency, a 533MHz front-side bus and 2MB of shared L2 cache. Until now, Intel didn’t gave an exact TDP but if we consider that U2500 consumes only 9 Watts and during normal operations it uses only 1 Watt, we can expect U2400 to use even less power.
These babies are perfect for notebooks. Dell and Fujitsu already announced that they will use U2500. From here is not a long road until U2400 will also be used in their notebooks.
U2400 will be available starting September 3 at a distributor price of $262.
