Sony revealed their new portable DVD walkman player. Named D-VE7000S, it is a beauty.
Featuring a 7″ Widescreen LCD, D-VE7000S allows you to view the movies like you were home.
Enjoy your favorite sounds with MP3 playback and high-detail JPEG imaging with slideshow display. It includes support for a wide range of playback disc formats including DVD, DVD±R/±RW and DVD±R dual layer discs, as well as CD, Video CD, CD-R/RW. Additionally, the D-VE7000S supports the commonly-used DivX, MP3 and JPEG formats for convenient movie and music playback to provide users easy, trouble-free multimedia entertainment.
The Speaker Cradle turns any space into your personal theatre, delivering exceptional and dynamic digital sound. Its multi-format DVD and CD compatibility gives you the power of choice. For extra convenience, the speaker cradle also doubles as a charger for the Walkman’s embedded battery, which can keep the unit running for up to three hours.
Together with its 5.1ch surround sound Dolby® Digital and DTS® digital output, its extensive connectivity allows the D-VE7000S to be used as a home DVD/music player with domestic A/V equipment. The supplied slimline remote control provides the finishing touch: everything at your fingertips wherever you are.
The player has a long lasting battery which can hold up to three hours, allowing you to enjoy your ride for a long time.
“These portable DVD players are designed to become essentials,” says Yoshiaki Kadokura, Vice President of Portable Audio Group, Sony Europe. “They’re the perfect addition to your entertainment toolkit whether you’re a student, parent or frequent flyer professional. The only hard part here is deciding which one to go for.”
In addition, just because we love you, here is also Sony’s Portable Cinema.
The base of the clamshell case DVP-FX810 provides a solid support for the 8-inch widescreen LCD display. The screen itself can swivel through 180-degrees so it can be set to suit everyone in a matter of seconds. Once it’s set up, the DVP-FX810 runs smoothly even in a car thanks to anti-shock technology built into the drive mechanism. The LCD is protected by a anti-scratch layer which makes the display more durable in time. And you can clean it easier.
The video signal is processed by a high-performance 12-bit 108MHz video DAC more typical of a full-size domestic DVD player, meaning super-smooth, artefact-free playback. When it comes to audio, powerful, integrated stereo speakers generate clear, detailed audio with plenty of punch to cope with ambient noise.
A remote control makes life more convenient, whether you’re relaxing at home or running entertainment for young children from the front passenger seat of the car. The supplied rechargeable external battery delivers up to six hours running time using headphones, but a car adaptor is provided as part of the package too, just in case.
DVP-FX810 supports the same media as D-VE7000S, meaning you can use DVD, DVD±R/±RW and DVD±R dual layer discs, as well as CD, Video CD, CD-R/RW. You can see DivX, MP3 and JPEG so you have anything you need.
Enjoy.
