Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company announced the upcoming availability of the Company’s first Blu-ray Disc player in September.

Blu-ray Disc player is the next generation optical disc format. Featuring a capacity as large as 50 gigabytes on a dual-layer disc, the devices based on this new technology will be able to hold high-definition movies and a great number of songs. Blue-ray disc players will also provide extensive capacity for video games and PC storage. This new technology has the support of many companies involved in this business including top studios and consumer electronics manufacturers

Panasonic is also committed to this new technology planing to launch its Blu-ray Disc player which is meant to provide high-definition entertainment experience for the home. The device will have EZ-Sync HDAVI control function included in order to make it simple to connect and control multiple products like Panasonic Plasma TV, Blu-ray Disc player and receiver.

Panasonic has planned to synchronize the launch of the DMP-BD10 player with the company’s first 1080p Plasma TV which can make full use of Blu-ray capabilities. The 2006 autumn comes not only with falling leaves but also with a new line of products from Panasonic.
