Apple has release three games that work with the new iPod lineup.
The new games will be available through Apple’s iTunes Store and wil work with the third-generation iPod nano (with video), iPod classic and fifth-generation iPod (with video).
As indicated by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, the three games, Tetris, Ms. Pac-Man and Sudoku can be first played at Apple’s “The Beat Goes On” special event held in San Francisco, being available for the public in a few weeks.
While Tetris, Ms. Pac-Man and Sudoku have already been available for fifth-generation iPods, this marks the first time the games have been released to be compatible with 3G iPod nanos and new iPod classics. So far, only these three games have been reworked with those devices. Users who have already downloaded these games for their fifth-generation iPods need to buy them again for the new iPod nano or iPod classic.
Other games remain available for purchase and download for fifth-generation iPods, including The Sims Bowling and The Sims Pool, Musika, Bejeweled and more.
