iTunes integration, Firewall to firewall transfers and One-click CD burning are its new features. But does the free version worth it?
The first thing that hits the eye in the free version of Morpheus are the adds – far too many. Not only it draws attention, but the application’s format has to suffer to – everything looks to crowded.
On the list of things to improve, the chat could use some kind of emoticons, as it has a poor design and no means to express emotions, other than simple text. Configuring options include Parental Control (with Block List), antivirus scan, Blocked Hosts and Proxy options.
Downloading is simple, just input a string to search, and the results will be sorted in categories: All, audio, video, image thus improving the search time. Performance is increased through the Multi-source download option and the integrated player looks like a good idea, still a video preview could have been better.
