Microsoft Is Closer And Closer To Apple

It seems that the news regarding their future competition to Apple are surprising.

In a news from Engadget, it seems that Microsoft is closer to being a competitor for Apple closer than ever.

Regarding the player, it will have a bigger display than iPod, and thanks to its WiFi feature, you will be able to copy content to the player from your computer and from the XBOX Live marketplace.

It’s not sure what will be the name of the service that Microsoft will use to allow users to download music or if they will use XBOX Live but we the rumor say that the tag line is “Connected Entertainment.”

Microsoft will try to capture Apple’s users with a very simple solution. If you have downloaded a song from Apple, you will get the same song from Microsoft for free. They will even scan the iTunes Music Store for your account and will be able to see what songs you have purchased so you will have the same songs on their player right from the beginning.

I don’t know if Apple will allow this or how will they do it, but the idea it’s great.

As for the release date, it seems that we will get to it on November, the same time with PS3 and perhaps Nintendo Wii.
