Delay of Vista and Office 2007 does not cause discomfort just among hardware producers and buyers but also between people working for the Redmond giant.
Not only the whole IT market was waiting for Windows Vista, the new OS from Microsoft, a project which has been in the making for several years, but also the developers inside the company.
Employees at Microsoft are now divided, some are asking for top management to resign as being incapable of running their departments, others are supporting the high level decision of delay.
On the Mini-Microsoft anonymous blog, Microsoft employees are blaming top management for this failure and ask for it to pay.
The blog was opened up by “Who da’Punkâ€Â? with a pretty strong reaction to the delay: “You are our leadership. When we succeed, it is directly because of how you lead and manage our teams. When we fail, it is directly because of how you lead and manage your teams. We’ve had enough of failure and we’ve had enough of you. Drop off your badge on the way out. Your personal belongings will be dropped off your house. Now get out of my sight.â€Â?
These are definitely some rough times at Microsoft. Management is questioned both from the inside as from the outside. Analysts also assume that once delayed to next year, the company could delay the launch a few times more. It does not necessary have to be January, does it ?
