The line of gadgets continues today with a Japanese invention: an USB powered drink warmer and cooler.

Warming with the USB is now possible, and you can keep your coffee hot in the morning and your soft drink cool in the afternoon. You have to connect this device to the USB of your personal computer, and change the switch hot or cool. The unit is turn off via the control switch without having to unplug the USB cable.

The operating temperature range is 7-50 degrees.

The product’s dimensions are: 150 x 170 x 145 mm, and its weight is 500 g. The volume of the stainless steel cup is 350 ml and the insulation effect is clearer when you use cans, instead pouring your juice into the cup.

Please do not imagine you can drink a hot coffee and, suddenly, have a beer. It is impossible even for manufacturer. The device needs ten minutes for the transition from cooling action to heating action.

Finally, we have to admit it is nice to have this gadget in remote places, or when you are super-busy. But it is not suitable for a party… Anyway, we believe the Japanese designers won’t forget party-lovers, and they will create a brother, specially designed to connect it to a server.
