After Nokia had problems with phones exploding it seems that Motorola has the same problems.
In the last two months, at least five mobile phones exploded making Motorola users worried.
It is true that are over 89 million Motorola phones in Brazil and 5 phones is nothing compared to that number, but you still get a little troubled. I think that most of the ones that have a Motorola phone are wondering: Could I be next?
The last victim was a 34-year old person had surgery for burns on her thighs and arms. She was driving with the phone in her lap when it exploded.
After Motorola said that they are investigating the things, they believed that probably the explosions were caused by non-original or low-quality batteries.
“We are having a strong campaign to alert users not to buy accessories which are not original. It’s very common for people to do this in markets or non-authorized stores,” Motorola spokeswoman Samantha Simon said last week.
So if are using genuine Motorola batteries, you have nothing to be afraid of.
