Graphic Performance for Sun Workstations

NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics are now available in the 64-bit Sun Ultra 40 workstations.

The Sun Ultra 40 workstation offerings include:

  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500: 1GB DDR2, two dual-link DVI-I connecto, a stereo connector; it includes SLI technology, SDI and is G-Sync capable
  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 3500: 256MB GDDR3 frame buffer, two dual-link DVI connectors, a stereo connector and industry leading 42.2MB/s memory bandwidth
  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 1500 – 256MB GDDR3 frame buffer, two dual-link DVI connectors and HD video output
  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 560 – 128MB, dual-DVI connectors.

Sun Ultra 40 workstations are present in film and broadcast, digital content creation, oil and gas, geosciences, mechanical computer-aided design (CAD) and medical imaging industries.
