Games32 presents “Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy” Review for XBOX360

Beginning with this week, Soft32 in collaboration with Games32 team will present you the most important reviews and previews on all the major consoles. So we start with “Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy” a game developed by High Moon Studios for XBOX360 and PS3, based on the The Bourne Identity movie. A game that was never expected to deliver such an intense action and cinematic feeling.

Robert Ludlum’s The Bourne Conspiracy is the exception that confirms the fact that sometimes a mainstream product can cause a big surprise for the critiques and players alike. Spectacular combat action, fast paced driving experience, and breath taking shooting scenes are ingredients that complete a game that was not considered a top ten product.

The game is a third person action game which was developed by Moon Studios for Xbox 360 and PS3. It is based on three major aspects: hand-to-hand combat, shooting combat, and driving. In order to maintain the high profile action feeling, the combat system was co-designed by Jeff Imada (who also worked for the Bourne movies). Every combat or instant action scene features dynamic camera angles in order to capture the cinematography feeling of the movie, while the driving scenes are not necessarily a successful addition.

Concentrated on a hand-to-hand combat system stripped to the bone of any difficult combos, this game can satisfy any player of any kind. With its fluidity in every movement, timing the attack sequence is just a matter of time. Though this simple concept has also negative effects. After a while it becomes repetitive and the shooting or driving scenes cannot increase the quality of the game.
