According to Citigroup and Reuters, Dell is likely to start selling AMD desktops in the near future.

After buying Alienware, a top Intel and AMD high-end computer maker, Dell announced that it will start using Opteron CPU in its workstation and servers. This after 15 years working only with Intel.

But now, after some information taken from Asia, it seems that Dell is interested to manufacture AMD desktops. Are these only speculations? Because Dell didn’t made an official announcement yet.

But as the deal regarding Alienware, it could be possible. But if this would be the truth, how much Dell will have to gain or to lose?
