Bungie, the creator of Halo2 announced that the game broke the 500 million online games played on XBOX Live.

Halo2 was a very popular game from the beginning. Until November 2004 when it was released, the game had over 1.5 million pre-orders. And that’s something. In a few months, Halo2 managed to be sold in more than 6.4 million units worldwide.

And who knows which game will be played more then 90 million hours on Xbox Live. And I’m not referring to any MMOG game.

At E3, Halo3 was exposed and a trailer was made public, trailer which becomes shortly one of the most popular content downloads on Xbox Live. Halo 3 is fully compatible with XBOX and takes advantage of the HD display.
