BenQ Presents Joybook P52 Notebook

BenQ presented their new Joybook P52 Notebook and also their mobile Bluetooth speakers.

Joybook P52 is the latest 15.4″ notebook. Powered by a AMD Turion 64 X2 CPU, P52 supports up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, up to a 120GB SATA hard drive and can be equipped with a Super-Multi dual-layer DVD burner.

The display has a 16ms response time but the 1280*800 resolution is too small for a 15.4″ display and looks like it was a 12″ or 13″ display which doesn’t looks good. The videocard is a Radeon X1600 which can have up to 512MB of HyperMemory.

The notebook comes equipped with SRS TruSurround Technology, a 360 degree surround audio which provides amazingly realistic and powerful stereo sound effects whether you’re watching a movie or playing 3D games. In addition, SRS TruBass Technology amplifies the lower frequencies in the sound, delivering superior audio performance.

More, it has a 5-in-1 card reader, GbE, 802.11a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and the option of either a 6-cell (2.5 hours) or extended 8-cell battery (3.5 hours).

To keep you connected to the media, BenQ also released their IMS-100, a Mobile Sound System which offers wireless music pleasure via Bluetooth.

IMS-100 works with all mobile phones and music devices such as MP3- or CD-players which are compatible with a Bluetooth Hands-free A2D-Profile.

To allow you to experience the best music, IMS-100 supports the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile, Audio Video Remote Control Profile and its built-in amplifier provides 3W of power. It can be operated with 4 AA batteries or can be plugged into a wall outlet. No price had been announced but it will be available since August.
