The ASUS My Cinema-U3000 digital TV tuner box includes free digital TV, TimeShift functions, video editing, DVD burning and music playback.
Combined with the remote controller, USB 2.0 interface support and Windows XP and MCE (Media Center Edition) compatibility, the My Cinema-U3000 turns PCs and notebooks into entertainment centers.
“Our goal was to develop a product that merges multimedia and portability to bring entertainment to personal computing,” said Kent Chien, Director of ASUS Multimedia Business.
Its antenna is retractable to save space. No external antenna is required for digital TV signal reception. In addition, the TV tuner is powered through the USB cable, which means no standalone power adaptor is needed. The My Cinema-U3000 delivers ease of use during multimedia applications. Conveniently select various entertainment features and utilize their functions for digital TV, movies, music, video editing and DVD burning. A LED light further indicates signal strength for quick operation status recognition.

yeah this seems to be a load of jnk i live in a major tow and cant get a signal and the software crashes all the time i havnt actually seen a single tv image yet

This product is the biggest load of junk!! The software is unusable and keeps crashing. I live in the middle of Melbourne, and can’t find a signal.
No wonder they gave it to me free when I bought a laptop.
