Not posting on their website informations about what the firmware does, the users were left with eyes wide open.
So the MacBook Pro users started testing what the firmware might had changed and they found out that the heat problem was resolved. The temperature was dropped with about 8 degrees.
Now we don’t really sure if they increased the fans speed, lowered the clocks or just made the bios show the temperature with 8 degreed less.
We hope the firmware increased the fans speed and not the other two solution. But until we will know more, we can only guess.
We wrote about the problem with heating MacBook Pro some time ago. More, the MacBook Pro users wanted to force Apple in solving the problems that MacBook Pro had with a solution. Mass phone calling Apple’s technical support. The day: 20th May. Could this be a coincidence or Apple feared that the customers might put this into action?
