A new service has been developed by AOL, which will “shrink” the Internet to be available for more mobile browsers.
AOL thought about mobile device users who access the Internet from their PDAs and smart phones and developed a service that makes Internet content to fit mobile devices with Web browsers.
Now, any search can be made with a mobile phone because there are no problems with the small screens of these devices.
AOL’s Mobile Search Service can adapt search results and Web pages to handheld devices using content-analysis and transcoding technology from InfoGin, as the two companies stated.
“AOL Mobile Search services give consumers the power to search or shop for anything they need via conventional cell phone, smart phone or PDA,” said Jim Riesenbach, senior vice president of AOL Search.
