Nokia has launched an on-line campaign, N-Gage Academy, to teach mobile phone users how to download and share games.
The campaign enables customers with a selected Nokia phone to order a mini-game free of charge, and share the game via Bluetooth connection with another compatible Nokia mobile phone. The purpose is to show how easy it is to download games onto your Nokia mobile phone.
“Gamers can also send the mini-game to their friends by Bluetooth. The N-Gage Academy campaign shows everyone that mobile gaming is fun and that everyone can play. This is also something we want to do with our next generation of mobile gaming on Nokia smartphones - with fantastic gaming quality!” said Gerard Wiener, Vice President, Games Business Program, Nokia.
Visitors to the N-Gage Academy can send a mini-game to another compatible Nokia mobile phone, either by WAP/GPRS settings or, by downloading the mini-game ZIP file to a personal computer for transfer by Bluetooth or MMC, with at least 2MB of memory.
