
Acer presented at Computex their HD-DVD notebooks. They are Aspire 9110, Aspire 5670, Aspire9510 and Aspire 9800.
The Aspire 9800 is a large screen entertainment notebook. It comes with a 20.1″ WXSGA+ high-brightness TFT LCD features six lamps, 1680 x 1050 pixel resolution, and a multitude of features for superior TV, audio, gaming and movies. Thanks to its GeForce Go 7600 with 256MB DDR2 and HD video quality, the games and not only will be a pleasure. With up to 4 GB DDR2 and up to 240GB S-ATA HDD with RAID support you have plenty of storage for you movies and multimedia files.
Aspire 9510 is a high-performance gaming machine. It owns a 17″ LCD, up to 4GB RAM, 240GB from two S-ATA HDD with RAID support. The videocard is a GeForce Go 7900 GS with 512 MB DDR3 for a good gaming experience.
And now to Aspire 9110. This is a full-features fun center with a 15.4″ WXGA high-brightness TFT LCD. Ideal for hardcore gaming or any other image-intensive application, the 16 ms response time enables maximized playback quality and is capable of displaying more than 60 fps — the standard frame-rate of HDTV.
