The-FreeWorld is the latest server brought down by the Motion Picture Association of America and the German Federation Against Copyright Thef.

MPAA through its international division named MPA in alliance with other international authorities like the German Federation Against Copyright Theft forced the TV shows indexing server, The-FreeWorld, to shut down.

Another eDonkey indexing site has been forced to go offline. The-FreeWorld was based on the TV shows part of The-RealWorld.de which was forced to remove its TV show indexes in August of 2005. The-FreeWorld and LokiTorrent which was shut down in December 2004 are the result of the worldwide fight against illegal download and intellectual property piracy.
