Fujitsu Siemens Computers reaffirms its commitment to the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate citizenship initiative to promote corporate social responsibility.
The international initiative was founded in 2000 by the United Nations and encompasses more than 2,400 participants worldwide in nearly 80 country networks. Together with U.N. agencies, areas of civil society and international organizations, these companies have banded together to promote universal social and environmental principles. For this purpose, the Global Compact has designed ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption.
As a member of the Global Compact, Fujitsu Siemens Computers commits to follow these principles in its activities and to support the United Nations in their implementation. The company’s brand: Sense of Responsibility with the customer promise “We make sure� is an ideal fit with the overall principles of Global Compact.
